  • Yes. 100%. LifeBody exists for real people, not perfect ones. You don’t need to be flexible or strong to start, that’s why you come. Our teachers are here to meet you exactly where you are and guide you safely, with care and encouragement. We’ve helped people post-surgery, postnatal, post-burnout… you name it we’re here to support you.

  • We hear this a lot. But our studio isn’t about judgement, it’s about support. Private sessions are calm, focused, and all about you. We’ll guide you gently and clearly, so you feel empowered, not overwhelmed. Most people walk in nervous and leave feeling stronger, taller, and more confident than they thought possible.

  • We love group classes too but private sessions are where the real magic happens. It’s just you, your teacher, and a studio full of apparatus tailored to your body. You’ll notice changes faster, understand yourself better, and get the kind of personalised feedback no group or screen can give you. Think of it as the difference between a playlist and a live performance.

  • Ideally, consistency is key but we know life doesn’t always run to plan. Many of our clients dip in and out, using private sessions as a reset when they need it most.

    Even just one session can shift how you move, feel, and understand your body. Some come weekly, others monthly, and many combine privates with group classes when they can.

    We’ll always make it count and we’re here to help you create a plan that supports your body and works with your schedule, not against it.

  • Yes completely. At LifeBody, we teach the classical Pilates method in a way that’s deeply personal and intelligent. You won’t just be copying movements, you’ll learn how your body works, where you’re compensating, and how to build true strength. Expect clear corrections, hands-on support, and that “why didn’t I do this sooner?” feeling.

  • Yes. We see clients every day working through these exact things and private sessions are one of the most effective ways to build strength, confidence, and support around your specific needs. We take the time to listen, adapt, and build from where you are. We’re also fully trained in supporting postnatal recovery, hypermobility, and chronic pain.

  • Totally normal to feel that way but don’t worry. The apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, etc.) is there to support you, not intimidate you. We’ll guide you slowly and clearly, and you’ll likely fall in love with how good your body feels when it’s moving in alignment and with control.
